Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Masonry Specialist to join our team at PARADISE POOLS AND LANDSCAPING. This is a permanent position that offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in masonry or equivalent experience
Work Environment
  • Construction sites
  • Repair and renovation projects
  • Commercial and residential settings
  • Willingness to relocate may be required
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units
  • Estimate materials and tools necessary for various projects
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Build decorative installations such as patios and garden walls
  • Interpret sketches and blueprints to determine material requirements
  • Perform work at heights using scaffolding or swing stages
  • Cut and trim masonry materials to specifications
  • Instruct and supervise apprentices and other workers
  • Restore and maintain existing masonry structures
Safety and Security
  • Basic security clearance is required
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation are necessary
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
  • Capable of lifting heavy loads
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods
