Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to lead our team at the Government of Canada - Atlantic. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for directing and controlling daily store operations, evaluating performance, and implementing strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and sales performance.
  • Evaluate store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Manage a team of sales and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Implement pricing and credit policies, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Determine staffing requirements, ensuring adequate coverage to meet customer demand.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate performance and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
