About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Tregunno Fruit Farms Inc. as part of our fruit farming operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes to ensure optimal yields.
  • Pack fruits and vegetables with precision and care to meet quality standards.
  • Pick row and orchard crops in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth.
  • Sort fruits and vegetables to ensure they meet quality and market standards.
  • Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality through pruning and other techniques.
  • Weeding and cleaning the work area to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote growth and prevent pests and diseases.
  • Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum quality and yield.
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for the market to ensure they meet our high standards.
Work Environment

As a Laborer at Tregunno Fruit Farms Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, under pressure, and handling heavy loads. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk.

Requirements
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions and priorities.
  • Organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and attention to detail.
  • Experience in fruit farming or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week in a physically demanding environment.
