Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Fruit Farm Labourer to join our team at Tregunno Fruit Farms Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes, as well as packing fruits and vegetables, and performing various other tasks related to organic farming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
  • Pack fruits and vegetables
  • Pick row and orchard crops
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • Sort fruits and vegetables
  • Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
  • Weeding
  • Clean work area
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Harvest crops
  • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
Requirements
  • Experience in organic farming an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Walking
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and will be expected to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.
