Job Summary

Résidence Lachance Sarrazin inc is seeking a Medical Care Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will provide support to our residents and staff in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with mealtime and snacks, including feeding and serving
  • Participate in activities and programs designed to promote resident engagement and well-being
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Respond to resident needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, patience, and leadership
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
