Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Collaborate with our sales team to identify high-value service opportunities aligned with our business goals and technical strengths.
- Client Engagement: Analyze client needs and provide formal responses to business scenarios, including proposals, statements of work, recommendations, and project plans.
- Technical Consultation: Conduct pre-sales activities, business process assessments, discovery calls, proof of concepts, and technology demonstrations. Provide post-sales consultation, software training, implementation, and support services.
- Workflow Optimization: Assist clients in defining workflows, customizations, and unique standards related to their use of Civil 3D and complementary technologies.
- Team Collaboration: Work with our internal team to contribute to bid responses.
- Communication: Participate in regular meetings with clients and internal teams, contribute to meeting notes, task delegation, review of work, and documentation of issues, risks, or concerns.
- Project Management: Maintain accurate project records in Salesforce.
- Marketing Support: Assist marketing in creating project success stories and content for the website and social media channels. Participate in marketing events.
- Professional Development: Maintain practical knowledge of Autodesk Civil Infrastructure solutions and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Civil 3D Expertise: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D for surveying, land development, transportation, drainage, and landscape design applications.
- Project Workflow: Familiarity with project workflows and design deliverables production, following specific CAD standards for civil engineering disciplines.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in the civil infrastructure sector.
- Training and Mentoring: Professional training and mentoring experience related to technology use, with an in-depth understanding of workflows, roles, and deliverables in a typical civil engineering project.
- Software Deployment: Understanding of software deployment fundamentals, licenses, and configuration concepts, particularly regarding models, project configuration, standards, and content management.
- Documentation: Strong documentation skills to deliver design solutions, technical proposals, and training materials.
- Communication: Ability to work under pressure, manage varying workloads, and take initiative to ensure task completion.
- Language Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills for optimal interactions between clients, technical team, sales team, operations, and management.
- Travel: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the province and occasionally to other provinces in Canada.
- Language Proficiency: Bilingual (English/French).
- Customization and Development: Ability to customize or develop CAD add-on applications or modules.
- Data Management: Experience in data management and geospatial databases.
- GIS Experience: Experience working with GIS solutions.
