Job Title: Flooring Specialist

Ghiro Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by removing existing flooring, cleaning, and repairing any damage.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure and cut flooring materials to the correct size and shape for installation.
  • Install Flooring: Install flooring materials, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient flooring, according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Repair and Maintain Flooring: Repair and maintain existing flooring, including repairing damaged areas and replacing worn-out flooring.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in flooring installation and maintenance.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
