- Order Merchandise: Coordinate the receipt and storage of merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
- Authorize Returns: Process returns and exchanges, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage staff schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate coverage.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, promoting products and meeting sales targets.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock management.
- Supervise Activities: Oversee the daily activities of sales associates, ensuring a high level of productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee Payroll: Manage payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35-40 hours per week.
