Food Store Manager

Milton Halal Meat is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that products are accurately priced and stocked.
- Sales and Customer Service: Foster a positive shopping environment, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a retail or supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
