Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch President to lead our team and drive business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch, including sales, operations, and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales:
    • Actively engage in sales activities to prospective clients and drive revenue into the branch.
    • Participate in setting branch sales targets.
    • Build and retain a strong branch Book of Business.
    • Focus on business development through relationship-building.
    • Utilize CMB's sales process to differentiate us from other agencies.
  • Leadership:
    • Provide local leadership to branch team members, ensuring a culture that strives to deliver on CMB's Core Mission, Vision, and Values.
    • Participate in all Leadership Meetings, Events, and Community engagements as required by IGN Corporate Services.
    • Participate in the recruitment and retention of all employment positions.
    • Provide direction and mentorship to new and experienced Sales team members.
    • Participate in weekly renewal and L10 team meetings.
  • Carrier Relationships:
    • Maintain and grow all carrier relationships at all levels.
    • Solve all marketing issues.
    • Participate in all carrier reviews and meetings.
    • Develop annual growth strategies with carriers.
  • Team Support:
    • Be familiar with and follow IGN Core Process, Core Mission, Vision, and Values.
    • Follow EOS: Traction methodology.
    • Take all steps to avoid and report to the COO any potential Errors & Omissions or bad debt situations.
    • Attend and participate in Traction EOS, staff meetings, and other company functions.
    • Demonstrate good leadership qualities with a positive attitude and ability to motivate others.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Net Annual Growth, as indicated on VTO.
  • EBIDTA Performance, as indicated on VTO.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Level 2 Insurance Agent and professional insurance designation.
  • 10+ years' experience with demonstrated success leading sales in an insurance environment.
  • 5+ years' experience with commercial insurance experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, motivation, and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude; self-motivation and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Desire to create and nurture relationships with clients and team members.
