We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team at Grace Young Activity Centre. As an integral part of our team, you will provide flexible, community-based ACT services designed to promote stability, recovery, and community integration.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a primary caseload of 8 to 10 clients and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate and provide ACT services.
- Provide compassionate patient care and work closely with clients to achieve their goals.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to support clients' recovery and community integration.
- Comprehensive benefit packages, including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan.
- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
- Financial support for moving expenses for eligible positions.
- Employee referral program.
- Employer-paid training and leadership development opportunities.
- Spectacular outdoor activities and short commutes.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Two years related experience in the mental health field within the last five years.
- Ability to teach individuals and groups or family members.
- Computer skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and counseling skills with individuals and groups.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently as well as on a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Class V Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
