Nurse Practitioner

The Northern Health Authority is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a Primary Care setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and health education.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic testing, to identify health needs and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and families to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Experience in Primary Care or a related setting.
