Job Title: Mechanical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technologist to join our team at KD Engineering Co.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating user manuals, repairing and maintaining machinery, and assisting in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain user manuals for mechanical equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Collaborate with engineers to prepare design, drawings, and specifications
  • Conduct mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create technical drawings
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants
  • Supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Test machines and equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work outdoors, underground, and in confined spaces. The work environment will be noisy and dusty.
