About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team as a technical lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and oversight on a variety of projects related to structural engineering for our heavy industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight on structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
  • Project Management: Manage and lead a team of engineers and designers, coordinating with project managers, architects, and other design professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Structural Analysis and Design: Perform structural analysis and design, preparing and reviewing project reports, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other design professionals to ensure successful project delivery, attending project meetings and coordinating with client representatives and contractors as required during the construction phase.
  • Site Visits and Recommendations: Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or remediation.
  • Technical Guidance: Review and provide technical guidance on structural engineering standards and codes, mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, with 5+ years of experience in Industrial, Mining & Metal, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Power or Nuclear plants/facilities.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage and lead a team of engineers and designers, strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
