Job Overview

Canada Post Corp is seeking a skilled and reliable Mail Service Courier to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and secure delivery of mail and packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload postal vehicles while maintaining the safety and security of mail and company property.
  • Collect, sort, and deliver mail and packages to designated locations.
  • Operate portable communications devices to facilitate communication with customers and team members.
  • Perform vehicle safety checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Complete documentation and maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and the public to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • A valid Class 3/D driver's license with the appropriate provincial air brake endorsements.
  • A safe driving record for at least 3 years, with a recent driver's abstract or commercial driver's abstract dated within the last 30 days.
  • The physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb).
  • The availability to work on short notice, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service and professional driving in commercial delivery.
  • Experience driving a 5-ton truck or larger.
