Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, including benefits and deductions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balance, and reconcile accounts.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
This is a permanent position with a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
