About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our team at Tulmar Safety Systems Inc. in a Plastics Manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis.
  • Set in sleeves, pockets, collars, and other garment pieces with precision and attention to detail.
  • Use sewing guides and tension devices to achieve high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of industrial sewing machine operations and maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
