Job Title: Production Line Technician

Montebello Packaging is a world-class manufacturer of tubes and containers for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food industries. We are seeking a skilled Production Line Technician to join our team in Hawkesbury, ON.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production line, participating in improving productivity, occupational health and safety, and quality according to established standards. This includes setting up changes, adjustments, and transfers of tooling, verifying product quality, and solving technical problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate production lines, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
  • Participate in improving productivity, occupational health and safety, and quality according to established standards.
  • Verify the quality of products manufactured, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Solve technical problems, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Maintain machines through recommended maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • DEP or DEC in technical, mechanical, electromechanical, or production management.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a technician on an automated line in the manufacturing field.
  • Experience in packaging, metal transformation, food, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics industries.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in French and English is an asset.
