We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at WinMar Fort McMurray. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Clean Surfaces: Ensure all surfaces are properly prepared and cleaned before painting.
  • Repair Cracks and Holes: Identify and repair any cracks or holes in surfaces to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Mix and Apply Paint: Mix and apply paint to desired color and texture, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Measure and Apply Wallpaper: Measure and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  • Advise Clients: Provide expert advice to clients on colors and choice of wall coverings.
  • Erect Scaffolding and Rigging: Safely erect scaffolding and rigging to access high areas.
  • Apply Finishes: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Accurately estimate costs and materials required for each project.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in painting and surface finishing.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with airless spray equipment, brush painting, and other relevant equipment.
  • Surface Preparation Experience: Experience with drywall taping/patching, water/hydroblasting, and other relevant surface preparation techniques.
