Airport Security Specialist

**About the Role**

As a Pre-Board Screening Officer with GardaWorld, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public. Your primary responsibility will be to screen the travelling public and their belongings, ensuring that non-permitted items do not enter the secure area. You will also be responsible for controlling access to restricted areas and responding to alarms and reporting any events, illegal acts or violations. Additionally, you will participate in emergency operations within the airport.

**Qualifications**

To be eligible for this role, you must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident, have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), and have a clean criminal record and be eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance). You must also be 18 years of age or older and have French verbal and written skills. Finally, you must be located near Mont-Jolie or willing to relocate before starting.
