CNC Machinist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Team Wood Kitchen Cabinets (2009) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Set Up and Adjust Production Machineries: Set up and adjust production machineries and tools to ensure optimal performance and precision.
  • Fabricate and Assemble Components: Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring high-quality finishes and precise dimensions.
  • Maintain and Repair Precision Measuring Instruments: Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Document and Report Deviations: Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, ensuring prompt corrective action and quality assurance.
  • Verify Dimensions and Accuracy: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, ensuring accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Operate Conventional and Computer-Controlled Machine Tools: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality parts and components.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The CNC Machinist will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, requiring flexibility, initiative, and teamwork.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in CNC machining or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
