Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. As a member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to promote health, healing, and education.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct health assessments, identify health risks, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Practical Nursing diploma from a recognized institution.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Saskatchewan.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
