About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced hairstylist to join our team at MK Hair and Beauty Studio Ltd. As a hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, coloring, and styling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze Hair and Scalp Conditions: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their hair and scalp needs.
  • Book Appointments: Manage client schedules and ensure timely appointments.
  • Cut and Trim Hair: Use your expertise to cut and trim hair according to client preferences.
  • Provide Custom Hair and Scalp Treatments: Offer personalized hair and scalp treatments to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Shampoo and Style Hair: Provide exceptional shampooing and styling services to clients.
  • Shave and Trim Beards and Mustaches: Offer precision shaving and trimming services for beards and mustaches.
  • Provide Additional Hair Services: Offer services such as waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp conditioning massages.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and mentor junior hairstylists and other staff members.
  • Apply Chemical Treatments: Safely apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
  • Apply Hair Extensions: Expertly apply hair extensions to enhance client hairstyles.
  • Cut, Trim, Taper, Curl, Wave, Perm, and Style Hair: Provide a wide range of hair services to meet client needs.
  • Suggest Hair Styles: Offer personalized hair style recommendations based on client preferences and physical features.
  • Perform Receptionist Duties: Assist with front desk duties, including answering phones and managing client records.
  • Maintain Supplies: Order and maintain a well-stocked inventory of hair care products and supplies.
Requirements
  • Hairstylist License: Possess a valid hairstylist license.
  • Work Term: Commit to a permanent work term.
  • Work Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Hours: Work 30-35 hours per week.
