We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and physically capable Warehouse Associate to join our Receiving and Handling team at RONA+. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and accurate product flow, from receiving deliveries to stocking store shelves.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Processing Deliveries: Receive all product deliveries, sort and unpack product, and operate a forklift to transport product to appropriate areas.
- Inventory Management: Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
- Accuracy and Integrity: Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received, complete paperwork with attention to accuracy, and complete Return to Vendor (RTV) duties as necessary.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate with vendors as necessary and work collaboratively with the team to ensure the store runs smoothly.
- Physical Condition: Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Health and Safety: Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Material Handling Equipment: Proficiency with material handling equipment is considered an asset.
- Competitive Wage: $19.00 per hour, with pay varying based on experience.
