We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Attendant to join our team at Aspira Hunter Village Retirement Living. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly to resident call bells and door alarms, providing courteous and respectful service.
- Deliver high-quality resident care, adhering to individual care plans and assignments.
- Transport residents to and from their rooms, activities, and dining areas as needed.
- Perform laundry and housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, addressing concerns and reporting incidents to the team leader.
- Practice safe food handling techniques and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Minimum six months of experience in a similar role.
- Current First Aid/CPR training.
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check.
