Job Summary:

The Production Helper plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production areas. As a key member of our team, you will work on assigned projects with minimal supervision, performing general manual labor tasks and housekeeping duties. Your attention to detail and ability to operate material handling equipment will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general manual labor and housekeeping duties in production areas
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Conduct visual inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
  • Assist with kiln outage work, including refractory installation
  • Identify and report nonconforming products to supervision
  • Work cooperatively with other employees to achieve team goals
  • Complete documentation and records as required
  • Monitor work to ensure adherence to legislated requirements
  • Report production, electrical, and mechanical issues to supervision promptly
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Technical knowledge of process and plant equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate heavy equipment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Effective leadership skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
