Job Summary:

The Production Helper plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. As a key member of our production team, you will work closely with other employees to perform a variety of tasks, including general manual labor, housekeeping of production areas, and operation of material handling equipment.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Perform general manual labor tasks, including cleaning and maintaining production areas
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Assist with the operation of packaging equipment and other machinery
  • Perform visual inspections of products and equipment to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Work cooperatively with other employees to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Complete documents and records as required
  • Monitor work done for adherence to legislated requirements
  • Report production/electrical/mechanical issues to Supervision immediately
Job Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate or GED equivalency
  • Technical knowledge of process and plant equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Heavy equipment experience a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Prior experience demonstrating effective leadership skills
  • Demonstrable team work and maturity with a strong work ethic
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
