Labour and Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labour and Delivery team at North York General Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families in the Labour and Delivery department.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Diploma in Nursing or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification.
- Recent breastfeeding course.
- Fetal Health Surveillance certification (preferred).
- Perinatal Certificate (preferred).
- 2-3 years Labour and Delivery experience (preferred).
- Operating Room experience (preferred).
- Bilingualism in French/English (an asset).
