About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Repair Specialist to join our team at All-In-One Autobody Inc. As an Automotive Glass Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality repairs and replacements of automotive glass components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Repair Costs: Accurately estimate the cost of repairs based on damage examination reports.
  • Inspect Repaired Vehicles: Conduct thorough inspections of repaired vehicles to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Plan Repair Work: Plan and prioritize repair work to be performed, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy when interacting with customers, providing clear explanations of repair processes and timelines.
  • Test Drive Vehicles: Conduct test drives to ensure vehicles are operating properly and safely.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Train and Mentor Apprentices: Provide guidance and training to apprentices, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Replace Front End Components: Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components as required.
  • File, Grind, and Sand Body Surfaces: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Mask and Tape Auto Body Surfaces: Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, ensuring a precise and even finish.
  • Hammer Out Dents and Defects: Use blocks and hammers to hammer out dents, buckles, and defects, restoring the vehicle's original shape.
  • Remove Damaged Fenders and Panels: Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
  • Apply Primers and Paint: Apply primers and repaint surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Repair or Replace Interior Components: Repair or replace interior components, including seats, carpets, and trim.
  • Repair or Replace Damaged Windows and Windshields: Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs, ensuring safety and quality standards.
  • Mix Paint and Blend Colors: Mix paint and blend colors to match the original finish, ensuring a seamless repair.
  • Operate Soldering Equipment: Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, ensuring a strong and durable repair.
  • Straighten Bent Frames: Use frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment to straighten bent frames, restoring the vehicle's original shape.
