Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for selling various types of insurance policies, including automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft, and other types of insurance. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all policy requirements are met, monitoring insurance claims, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations, and other policy requirements are completed
- Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries
- Provide customer service and support
- Sell insurance policies and provide information on policy features, benefits, and coverage
- Work with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in insurance sales or a related field is an asset
- Provincial or territorial licence
- Criminal record check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Paid time off (volunteering or personal days)
- Parking available
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week
