Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

KULAR MANAGEMENT SERVICES is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning services.
  • Recommend additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
Work Environment:

The Cleaning Supervisor will work in a wet/damp environment with odours, requiring a high level of physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week.
