The ideal bartender not only excels in beverage preparation but also serves as a welcoming presence in the bar area. They leverage their skills and knowledge to ensure the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. Building strong relationships with colleagues across various departments (from housekeeping to guest services) and within the local community is essential to anticipating and fulfilling our guests' needs.
A commitment to exceptional guest service is paramount, along with a keen attention to detail—whether it's managing cash flow, providing accurate information to guests, or ensuring precise reporting.
Regardless of your role, certain elements are crucial for success: maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, presenting a clean and professional appearance, ensuring confidentiality, and safeguarding company resources. As a bartender, you will be active and engaged, requiring the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and to handle physical tasks (such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance). It is important to be prepared and organized, with the ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as necessary. Mastering these responsibilities, along with any additional tasks that arise, forms the foundation of this role. Ultimately, the hallmark of the Bartender position is delivering an outstanding guest experience, inspiring both guests and team members to embrace a lifestyle of discovery.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification: None required.
Compensation: The hourly pay range for this position is $22.26 to $24.73.
