Job Title: Glass Installer

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installer to join our team at Durabuilt Windows & Doors Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing glass products, including windows, doors, and mirrors. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure a precise fit
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a watertight seal
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized tools and techniques
Work Environment

The Glass Installer will work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, warehouses, and customer homes. The role requires the ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and withstand varying weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 32 hours per week
