Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Management: Manage kitchen operations, including supervising staff and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
- Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, and develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Work Setting: Restaurant
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
