Position Overview: Maintenance Electrician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to conduct predictive and preventative electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Receiving directives from management.
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
- Conducting electrical assessments using specialized tools.
- Interpreting blueprints and electronic schematics.
- Developing maintenance protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Keeping the workspace organized and tidy.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and machinery.
- Fundamental knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC).
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Capability to interpret wiring diagrams and safety guidelines.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Preferred vocational training and basic PLC education.
- A minimum of two years of experience in electrical troubleshooting.
- Possession of personal hand tools and reliable transportation.
Work Environment Details:
- Manufacturing facility setting.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions.
