Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 2429891 ONTARIO INC.

Job Summary

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a clean and safe dining area.
  • Load buspans and trays with food and supplies, and replenish condiments and other supplies as needed.
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Take customers' orders and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Legally able to work in Canada.
Work Environment

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs). The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
