Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties
  • Develop detailed estimates of labor and material costs
  • Prepare pre-qualification submissions for client presentations
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ascertain project requirements
  • Utilize CADD and other software systems effectively
  • Calculate estimates for general expenses and overheads
  • Project cash flow and financing needs
  • Generate and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
  • Implement quantity take-off procedures
  • Provide guidance on tendering processes
  • Evaluate tenders and make award recommendations
  • Establish cost monitoring and reporting systems
  • Oversee and adjust contract expenditures
  • Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors regarding cost estimates
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Spreadsheet applications
  • Experienced with AutoCAD
  • Knowledgeable in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

  • Background in Purchasing, Procurement, and Contracts
  • Experience in Project Coordination
