About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at AMP CITY ELECTRICAL AND CONSTRUCTION INC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and construct single-phase services for single or multi-meter installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires, utilizing knowledge of electrical codes and safety protocols.
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Determine the most suitable materials and methods for hazardous locations, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques and tools.
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Install power generation, standby power generation, and power conditioning systems, meeting client specifications and deadlines.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures, collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality results.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The role requires a high level of physical fitness, as the electrical engineer will be working in various locations, often in challenging environments.
  • Attention to detail is crucial, as the engineer must ensure accuracy and precision in their work.
Personal Qualities and Experience
  • We seek a candidate with a strong sense of flexibility, initiative, and judgment, who can adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
