Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our support services team, you will provide direct support to clients with various and individual needs, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to clients with various and individual needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist clients in daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility, to promote their independence and well-being.
  • Provide companionship and support to clients, fostering a supportive and empowering environment for them to thrive.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Escort clients to appointments or social outings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Conduct assessments to understand clients' unique requirements and develop personalized care plans.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure personalized support for each client.
  • Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to community resources, working closely with families, caregivers, and external agencies to enhance their quality of life.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Support Worker or in a related field.
  • Familiarity with disability support services, mental health, or social work.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Certification or diploma in a relevant field is preferred).
  • Experienced Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License.
  • Current First Aid and CPR training.
