About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Assistant to join our team at NORTHSTAR CONCRETE LTD. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by removing rubble and debris, and cleaning up materials.
  • Material Mixing and Application: Assist in mixing and applying materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to strict quality control standards.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in a related field is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, requiring a 40-hour workweek.
