Director, Sustainability Reporting and Analytics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Sustainability Reporting and Analytics to join our team at Ontario Teachers'. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for developing and implementing our sustainability reporting strategy, ensuring compliance with emerging reporting standards, and providing thought leadership on ESG issues.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability reporting strategy that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with emerging reporting standards, including the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
- Provide thought leadership on ESG issues, including climate change, human rights, and governance.
- Lead a team of sustainability analysts and specialists to develop and implement sustainability metrics and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that sustainability reporting is integrated into our overall reporting framework.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, NGOs, and regulatory bodies.
- 10+ years of experience in sustainability reporting, ESG analysis, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability reporting strategies.
- Strong knowledge of emerging reporting standards, including TCFD and SASB.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
