We are seeking a Technician II to join BGIS, a global frontrunner in facility management and real estate services. In this role, you will assist fellow technicians in performing maintenance, repairs, and routine services on various facility components. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing issues with facility, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Adhering to environmental, health, safety, and fire protection regulations
- Monitoring facility operations, addressing service requests, and managing work orders
- Fostering client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Documenting resolution data and engaging in facility-related projects
- Ensuring adherence to corporate policies and standards
- Maintaining tools, managing expenditures, and fulfilling other assigned responsibilities
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in facility operations and maintenance
- Comprehensive understanding of facility operations and maintenance protocols
- Capability to troubleshoot and repair non-technical components
- Strong commitment to environmental, health, and safety practices
- Excellent communication and client-service abilities
- Basic familiarity with Building Automation Systems and technical schematics
Licenses and Professional Certifications
- Pursuing a diploma or certificate in facility management
- Eligibility for a higher security clearance
- Preferred qualifications include Building Operator Certification, Facilities Technician Certification, or relevant trade license
