About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at CELCO DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing high-quality floor coverings, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise markings.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors.
  • Hardwood Flooring Installation: Prepare and install hardwood floors, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Damage Repair: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, restoring them to their original condition.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare floors for installations, removing existing floor coverings and contaminants as needed.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate understanding of project requirements.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina, as you will be handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: You will be working in a variety of settings, including construction sites and client premises.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience: We require at least 3 years of experience in floor covering installation, with a strong understanding of materials and techniques.
  • Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, with a focus on trade-related studies.
