Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team at Opal Corporate Connections. As an integral part of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports and statements, conducting cyclical audits, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage multiple files, including accounting and bookkeeping tasks, as well as tax return preparation
  • Communicate effectively with clients, both verbally and in writing, to address their financial needs and concerns
  • During tax season, focus on personal taxes, working closely with clients to resolve issues and submit accurate returns
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial statements and analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data
  • Ability to travel up to 5% within the GTA for client meetings and site visits
