Job Title: Electrical Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Five K Electric Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. This includes installing underground wiring and cables, splicing and connecting wires, and testing and measuring voltage, loads, and ground faults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including underground wiring and cables
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand electrical system designs
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced electrical contracting environment, with regular exposure to electrical systems and equipment. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule will be 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
