Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 10097579 MANITOBA LTD. O/A SUBWAY. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Manage Inventory and Budgets: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and they have a positive experience.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of staff performance, inventory, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, team player.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and moving equipment.
Language:
  • Language of Work: English.
Hours of Work:
  • Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
