Position OverviewWe are in search of a seasoned and proficient Senior Front-End Developer to become a vital part of our development team. In this role, you will be tasked with the design and implementation of user interfaces for web applications. You will collaborate closely with our design and back-end development teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and visually engaging web solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside designers and back-end developers to craft user-centric web interfaces that align with client specifications and design standards.
- Create high-quality, responsive web applications utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Enhance web applications for optimal speed and scalability.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure seamless functionality across various browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address front-end challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in front-end development and share insights with the team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, conducting code reviews and offering constructive feedback.
- Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, and estimation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience as a Front-End Developer, with a minimum of 7 years in the field.
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React or Angular.
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).
- Solid grasp of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with web performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with server-side CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, LESS) is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- A portfolio or examples of previous work showcasing front-end development expertise are highly desirable.
