Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Atlantic Roll Forming. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Determine Method of Shipment: Research and select the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods for our products.
- Schedule Distribution: Coordinate with our suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Inspect and Verify Goods: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure they match our orders.
- Maintain Record-Keeping System: Accurately record and maintain our internal record-keeping system.
- Route Goods to Storage: Ensure that goods are properly routed to our storage areas.
- Pack and Load Goods: Pack and load goods for shipment, ensuring they are properly secured and protected.
- Supervise Material Handlers: Supervise and train our material handlers and helpers to ensure they are working efficiently and safely.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
