Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Cansel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and verifying equipment calibration for our clients across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and load software on devices
  • Verify Bluetooth connectivity
  • Inspect and calibrate geospatial equipment and systems
  • Configure geospatial equipment and systems
  • Verify communication with satellites
  • Maintain up-to-date equipment checklists
  • Verify, adjust, and calibrate rods, lasers, and levels
  • Perform administration duties in SAP and Vendors Virtual Warehouse
About You

We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual who can work within a team environment and can work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will possess:

  • Minimum grade 12 high school diploma
  • Post-secondary education or experience as an Electronics Technician is an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Good mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools
  • Knowledge of computer information systems and survey equipment an asset
  • Experience loading software/firmware onto field computer devices
  • Excellent verbal, phone, and email communication
  • Bilingual (English/French) an asset
