Culinary Specialist

The Ksan House Society is seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in providing nutritious meals to individuals in need.
Educational Requirements- No formal education required
This position is based in a supportive shelter setting, focusing on community service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes
- Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas
- Manage inventory and maintain records of food supplies and equipment
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and workspaces
- Food Safety Certification
- First Aid Certification
Prior experience in a community service organization is preferred.
Safety and SecurityA criminal record check is required for this position.
Work Conditions- Fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Ideal candidates will have between 1 to 7 months of relevant experience.
